We are currently looking for seasonal lifeguards focused on creating a safe and positive experience. Responsible for our members and guests who are there to utilize our outdoor pool facilities. They effectively enforce club policies, inspect the facilities for cleanliness and safety, and, when necessary, utilize lifeguard skills to ensure the wellness and safety of all patrons.

Lifeguard Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing activities at outdoor pool locations.
• Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons.
• Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger.
• Warning swimmers regarding unsafe situations.
• Maintaining order in swimming areas.
• Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning.
• Performing first aid procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all areas.

Lifeguard Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Swim Coach and/or Lifeguard background preferred but not required
• Proficient communication skills.
• Proficient in interacting with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
• Available to work nights and weekends. 
• Physically fit, strong, agile, and dexterous.

Lifeguard Training Upon Hire:

• First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
• Completion of lifeguard training.
