Position: Club Trainer

Reports To: Fitness Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Upholds and adheres to the Courthouse Training Culture in their club.
Provide leadership & coaching to clients.
Communicate with the Fitness Manager & Fitness Support Team concerning client progress, changes in membership, etc.
Lead Spartan, Performance, Semi-Private, and Private workouts in the club
Assist in covering sessions when requested by the Fitness Manager.
Oversees as well as maintains a safe and clean training environment.
Encourage Group Exercise when appropriate
Progress and regress the client, not the workout
Attends & participates in training meetings (Company & Club Level)

Ability to coach and communicate, good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and eager to accept responsibility
Being able and willing to work a wide variety of hours when present in the club is needed (specifically during peak times)
Maintain current certifications and be a lifelong learner
Critically assess own performance
Mature, credible and comfortable working with upper management in a clear and straightforward manner
Establish personal fitness habits that are consistent with the Fit Five
Set an example of excellence for staff to follow in conduct, habits, and treatment of others

Comfortable with leading others
Capable of demonstrating the value of training
Able to effectively lead any format of Training
Able to teach others with the attitude of a humble servant
Able and eager to learn new skills and/or technology that can improve our operation
Able to communicate effectively and professionally in writing
Demonstrate an aptitude for basic computer skills and the ability to use common and/or club-specific software
